Southeastern Stompers Clogging Teams
Back in the heyday of festivals, we offered entertainment by the Southeastern Stompers Clogging teams. From local nursing homes during the holidays to the World’s Fair in New Orleans, Disney World and clogging championships, this dance troupe brought smiles to lots of faces.
ADULT CLASSES
Even though we accept students as soon as they can walk, we offer dance fun for those at the other end of the age spectrum, too! Our adults have performed as dancing watermelons, Christmas ornaments, knights in shining armor and many more oddities. We specialize in those with two left feet, and also welcome students who took in their youth and miss it.
The Elf Show
We started taking our show on the road the first year we opened as we furnished tiny hula girls for a luau at Rikard’s Nursing Home. It was so appreciated that the following year we took some dancers during the holidays; five years later we were dancing at 25 Midlands area nursing homes in the two weeks prior to Christmas. Many parents wanted their kinfolk to be able to see our little show and so we started offering it for the public, many years after that first hula performance. It evolved into The Elf Show, which is still an annual offering. It features lots and lots of dancing elves, and completes our first semester following our nursing home holiday tour.
Trips!
All our dancers are offered the same opportunities to travel for dance performances. From the annual Charleston bus trip to Nashville, Disney World, Cypress Gardens, Gatlinburg, Carowinds, Virginia, Knoxville and numerous other destinations, we have always made occasional trips a part of our studio offerings.
Field Days and Flannel Festivals
Social gatherings have been a part of our studio since the beginning. We are more than a place to learn skills; for those who want to be a part, we are a dance family.
Tiny Tots
Results are not guaranteed by any means, but we have had much success with those even younger than two, so we believe in giving little ones a chance.
